And it is a wonderful setting.
- The route is entirely within the grounds of the Englefield Estate
- Run through the deer park, woods, past the main house & lake
- Setting for movies, society weddings and more
Start: 11am
- Chip timing
- Markers every kilometre
- Drinks station on the course and another at the finish
This less demanding race starts shortly after the main event and uses a portion of the main course.
Intended for under 15s and less confident runners it takes in mainly grassland, paths, lakes and one small hill.

Supporting, empowering and inspiring young people
Berkshire Youth help with the transition from childhood to young adulthood, supporting young people to reach their full potential and make a positive contribution to their communities. We help young people through leisure activities, helping them to grow. Many of the young people we work with are vulnerable or disadvantaged and unable to access help elsewhere.
We focus on prevention and helping young people who are missing out, not yet in crisis and who can’t afford what is on offer or face barriers to access: they may have mental health issues, responsibility as a carer or low self-esteem.
